He acknowledges John Mahama’s gov’t had built 112 of such dams and dug outs in 2016
He further said 67 were expected to be completed in 2017

However in January 2018 at the New Year’s school, Vice President Dr Bawumia said gov’t had awarded contracts and the construction of 1V 1D will start soon

In 2018, Dr Bawumia said 570 dams were going to be constructed but a look at the 2018 budget presented to Parliament suggested otherwise as shown in the picture

In the 2019 budget, Ken Ofori Atta said designs and rehabilitation of some existing dams and 12 small earth dams had been completed and construction alongside 180 dams by Ministry of Special development initiatives will start in 2019
In the 2020 budget statement sent to Parliament in November 2019, Ken told us he would give us numbers so we waited for the numbers

In the mid year review budget presented to Parliament in July 2020, Ken Ofori Atta is giving us another figure of 88 as completed dams as at July 2020 and not the 200 completed in 2019(100 extra by end of 2019 making 300)

Government responded by saying out of the 560 dams promised by the NPP, 437 were 90-100% completed and gave stats on them https://www.gna.org.gh/1.18596701
So from the above it clearly indicates that the 200 that Ken Ofori Atta said had been completed included the 112 by Mahama in 2016 and 88 by Nana Addo

President @NAkufoAddo your appointees are not telling you and Ghanaians the truth on the 1 Village 1 Dam
I therefore appeal to your highest office to commission a proper audit of how many dams have been completed and currently ongoing and the impact of it on farming
