6.40am - Mask number 1 - waiting for the tube on my way in to work #wearamask #COVID19

7.40am - made it to work and next mask on as I head to get changed into my scrubs and head into theatre #wearamask

And at 20.15 this is my fifth mask of the day including a couple of stints in my resusable respirator. Again, had a mask on at all times bar eating and drinking and I am still alive and kicking #wearamask

And at 21.35 about to take off the last mask of the day. From my first tweet of the day until now I have pretty much worn a mask the whole day. Whilst doing my job. Whilst making complex decisions. Whilst taking care of patients in high risk situations

So from 6.40 until 21.35 I wore a mask. And I survived. And I did the same on Friday and on Saturday and I will be wearing a mask tomorrow when I head out and on Tuesday and on Wednesday....

So wear a mask (if you can and the vast majority of us can).

Now to eat and sleep!
