So I didn't know how to use Uniswap to buy $MTA, one of the new DeFi coins that isn't on major markets yet.
I was completely unsure how and almost gave up.
It was actually pretty easy. Here's how:

It was actually pretty easy. Here's how:
Head to http://uniswap.org and launch it
Select a token. You'll note that $MTA isn't available by default. You'll need to search for it using it's contract. You can find this on Coingecko
Now you're ready to swap. Enter as much $ETH as you want or hit max. It'll give you a rough conversion. You can set up how much slippage you'll allow in the top right settings.
Submit it, and confirm it (in MetaMask at least, not sure about others) and wait for the swap.

Then enjoy your swapped crypto!
(Thank you @CryptoMessiah and @icebergy_ who helped me out because I was pretty nervous about using it my first time)
I'd also add on here to bump your slippage up and also to increase your gas with the transactions.
I've had trouble getting even small bags filled without both turned up.

Also, don't hit 'max' on your ETH. You gotta have some in your wallet to cover gas fees. I leave $20-$30 of ETH in at all times.
If you use all your ETH, you'll have to send more over to be able to transact any additional swaps.
