Lemme say though I don't believe in bibilical Jesus myself I don't think he'd personally care what race you chose to depict him as because he represents all of them.
The only reason black Jesus is rather thorny for me is because it's simply a political message and you couldn't stand the idea of a benevolent white person
For the record despite Jesus being depicted as looking more my skin tone this doesn't condone Shaun King calling for white depictions of him to be sabotaged as ok.
