The fake video of “Uighur being tortured” has crossed my feed several times. Apparently it’s a Taiwanese BDSM porn video. It’s not the only fake video I’ve seen. https://twitter.com/CarlZha/status/1286607554856890368
There’s also a whole genre of “Uighurs being forced to drink alcohol” videos circulating that are so obviously not what they are claimed to be. Check this one out.
Another example of this transparently ridiculous – but apparently convincing to many people – genre of propaganda. Does this man look like he is being "forced" to do anything?
And I'm pretty sure that this video does not show what the title claims: "Chinese Man Forces Uyghur Muslim Woman To Dance With Him"
Apparently people having lunch at a restaurant is also evidence of Uighur genocide.
A few months ago I recall a video of an elderly woman enjoying a drink and having a laugh and it was also circulated as evidence of Uyghur genocide. I can't find it now. Perhaps it was deleted because it was too ridiculous even for those promoting it?
This report from "respectable" @Channel4News is a prime example of propaganda. If you study it for actual evidence of what it claims, you find none. There's footage of workers in buses and spin from a DC lobby group. But nothing that backing alarmist title
We are all being collectively propagandized against China, and a lot of the propaganda targets Muslims, precisely because China is gaining economic and technological influence in many Muslim-majority countries. You don't have to see China as utopia to understand this is happening
