Interesting how this type of role if often restricted to physiotherapists. Is it because of historical views and that is the job title that has always fulfilled that role, or because there is a genuine belief that physiotherapists are more suited to that role than others?

For example, SST members meet spec requirements other than HCPC reg. and being physio.
