1) Climate is one of the defining issues of our time & getting politicians to act on it is essential. @OurTimeUK campaigned to get 18-30-year-olds registered to vote in line with their concerns on climate, helping towards the final total of 2.4m registered #ValueNat #DICECON20
2) When campaigning for a behaviour, you should know who you want to reach, context & what you want them to do. Organising research, online campaigning, stunts, advertising and influencer outreach requires a lot of teamwork, collaboration & flexibility #ValueNat #DICECON20
3) The strategy was to combine an open campaign where creatives shared pro-bono designs, with targeted social media ads that shared content with specific segments of unregistered voters in constituencies with lots of young people & low youth registration #ValueNat #DICECON20
4) Once we knew our audiences & how to talk to them, @ifnotnowdigital reached out to creatives to help influence registration, & set up targeted ads using art as a tool of empowerment. In short, we made sure the right stuff got seen by the right people #ValueNat #DICECON20
5) PR-grabbing stunts like nationwide projections & a partnership with @UKSCN1 amplified our message, along with hero content like The World Is (Y)ours; a video made by @wearepocc in partnership w/ @Dazed to empower young POC #ValueNat #DICECON20
6) Creative campaigns like this are a valuable tool to encourage change with the right research, framing, team, tools, identity & strategy. Teamwork & collaboration are key in this!
