#Belarus.Some of my observations from yday's rally of the united opposition in #Barysau. Around 5,000 people came, it's a lot for a city of 145k. Definitely one of the largest political rallies that ever happened here. Some travelled from nearby cities to support #Tsikhanouskaya
Interesting processes are happening in the regions. #Lukashenko always says that regional folks support him. Instead,this year, they protest against the incumbent. It makes the stakes higher - it’s harder to suppress dissent spread across the country,not only cumulated in #Minsk

I already wrote that #Tsikhanouskaya was more relaxed. She TALKED to people, asked them about their problems. Someone from the crowd asked her whether she is going to help people.Interesting: she insists she’d organise a new election, but some still see her as potential president
