Small group at the Columbus statue, including FOP president John Catanzara.
When asked why he’s out here, he said “I’m Italian, plain and simple, and I’m sick of the mayor thinking she can do whatever she wants to do...like taking the statue down in the middle of the night when she thinks no one is paying attention.”
Pressed on if he thinks the decision had something to do with tonight’s protest outside her house, he said: “the house she fled with a police escort because she was scared for her own safety? Yeah, again, because she’s a coward”
