Remember as you read THIS section of the briefing, Pientka is 'observing' Flynn here because he's under investigation for being a Russian agent.

For around 3 1/2 years now, I've been thinking FBI Special Agent Joseph Pienkta III was one of the first...if not THE first...to realize Horowitz - and whoever investigated SpyGate once RussiGate unraveled - was going to find it ALL and flipped and got a deal.
It's the only explanation for why the DOJ insisted on completely ghosting him all this time.
