You know what's funny, in a sad and pathetic sort of way? Think about how things are with the China virus right now. Everyone on the entirety of the left, especially in the media, screeched that taking HCQ was a death sentence,
notwithstanding people who have taken a drug approved about 70 years ago daily for years. Now that a larger study appears to reaffirm the efficacy of the treatment, we're back to "lockdowns until a vaccine is developed" garbage from some.
Here's the truth, though: if Biden wins in November, HCQ will be touted as "the thing that gets us back to normal until a vaccine is developed, if it's developed".
Businesses will reopen and the economy will start to rebound and people will call it the "Biden recovery". I know this because there is historical precedent: the "Clinton recovery" trumpeted less than a week after the 1992 election.
The economy back then had been recovering for a little over a quarter, but the leftist media kept saying Bush was cooking the books. FTR, most of the recovery was consumer spending, which is kind of hard to fake. Anyway.
The week after Clinton won, headlines about the Clinton recovery were everywhere. Oh sure, he hadn't been sworn into office, nor had he enacted a single policy, but the recovery was simply because people had "hope". I'm not kidding.
To be fair, Biden's proposed policies would likely put a severe damper on any recovery, but at least we wouldn't be strangling businesses, preventing them from making money.
This whole game nauseates me, but does not surprise me. I've known who these people are from the beginning. Lives lost/ruined, businesses crushed, jobs gone for good: it's all a small price to pay for two things:
1) Trump to lose
2) Biden (or his VP more likely) to get the credit for doing things they expended great effort preventing Trump from doing.

You'll see stories touting the "Biden cure" within a couple of weeks after he wins (if), or possibly sooner. Businesses will be allowed to go back to normal, more or less.
Of course, there is another possibility which is more chilling: the left advances their "national mask mandate" to "do whatever the eff we say whenever the eff we say it or face jail and/or destruction of your life/business."
I know that some of your are rolling your eyes right now. "Pshaw, you're overstating things." Me:"Who was right about the left and the predicted covid response, you or me?" I'm gonna have to go with "me" right now.
Some of you are irritated that I'm doing the I told you so thing. Sadly-for you- your irritation matters less than nothing to me.I've known who and what the opposition is for years because THEY TOLD US WHO THEY ARE. You simply pretended they weren't telling the truth.
