🔸How to tackle GW38+ if you’re:

•Chasing
•Maintaining
•Shielding

I’ll cover all of this and more in the (thread) below. ⬇️ #FPL
Chasing 1

Target the players you think have the highest ceiling for this one gameweek and prioritise getting them in. Kane, Sterling and Salah/Mane in particular.

Taking a hit to get them in is fine, especially when captaining them.
Chasing 2

Double up on teams you think will score well against teams with nothing to play for.

Spurs and Man City should do very well this week. Arsenal and Everton could also be worth a shout but are less likely to haul.
Chasing 3

Throw one or two differentials in. David Silva and Antonio are owned by very few managers and are in great form. If you want to climb that mini league then they’re worth a shout.
Maintaining 1

Check the TSB% of your assets and the assets you’re wanting to bring in. Try and prioritise the players with higher ownership and also check the other teams in your mini league. Which players would hurt you the most if you didn’t own them?
Maintaining 2

Don’t take hits. Use your transfer but don’t be tempted to take hits. A -4 can be the difference between 10k in OR and 1st to 3rd in a mini league. Just sit and watch while others do.
Shielding 1

It feels wrong, but if a player in your mini league has a player that could hurt you, transfer them in. It negates the threat completely and stops them gaining ground on you.

Just make sure you also think about your teams needs too.
Shielding 2

Again, don’t take hits. Others have to do this to try and make up points but you’re in the position where you don’t have to. Pick sensibly and use your FT.
Shielding 3

Don’t be clever. There’s no need at this point to go for crazy differentials and make a name for yourself of being a maverick. Pick your transfer with due consideration and relax in the knowledge that you’ve been sensible and your hard to beat.
What do you all think?

Any others you would mention?
