To me, this reflects a miscalculation on Omni's part, rather than the burden of the 30% cut. They put their eggs in the cross-platform basket, when most professional work happens on a computer, rather than collaboration, which is necessary when working on a team
Omnigraffle (which I used religiously until 2 years ago), felt like 2008 software in 2017. With amazing real-time collaboration in tools like LucidChart, it was clear Omni software wasn't going anywhere, and I don't think I was the only one who felt that way
