We also need to reverse the policy that defines "the border" in a way that is unrecognizable to most Americans even as it makes them subservient to the CBP. If you can't see the border, it's not the border.
Places where I have lived in: Syracuse, Ann Arbor, College Station, Madison (WI), Washington DC.
Per current US policy, all of these are border towns. Chances are you live in a border town too, you just didn't know it.
