You know what everyone starting a side hustle, learning skills, building digital assets, etc. has in common?

They're hedging their bets.

Something like 85% of jobs of 2030 don't exist yet. Many jobs of today will cease to exist.

Learn how to prepare for the future 🧠👇

1/9
The main reason the future is increasingly scary is due to the ever-increasing complexity.

Back in the day, you walked into the office, shook hands with the director, got a job & worked there for 40 years.

Today, holding a job for over a couple years is almost a miracle.

You could learn a skill today that is obsolete in 5 years due to advancements in technology (have you seen GTP3 videos this week?)

Heck, a few years ago it was popular to "learn how to code". Today 'nocode' is as popular as ever.

Uncertainty leads to paralysis & innaction.

So how can you prepare for an ever-evolving future?

Well, let's make ONE thing certain: you will continuously have to learn & improve.

The best bet you can make for the future is to develop your learning skills:

Learning how to learn.

4/9
Yes, I know, nothing new under the sun.

But why should the solution be any different?

The problem of new technology changing the economic & job landscape isn't new.

Everyone in the past who's job or skills were obsolete had to learn. And so do you.

5/9
There are 2 important aspects of learning:

1) WHAT you are learning
2) WHO is learning

The former is the content, skills & ideas. They can & will become obsolete. The software.

The latter is you, the person who can learn, understand & excel quick or not. The hardware.

6/9
When learning, the answer is not WHAT to learn.

Nobody can safely predict what skills or needs will be popular in the future. We can only guess.

However, what will never change is the person WHO is learning.

And this we can work on with perfect certainty.

The person learning needs the right framework & mental models to be able to swiftly apply new knowledge.

You could increase the volume of water going through a channel, but it will always be limited to the width of the channel.

There are many ways to learn how to learn, & not one system works for all.

My recommendation for the general is to learn by yourself with this easy mental model:

Emulate ➡️ Experiment ➡️ Abstract ➡️ Situate

This way, you incorporate the meta skill of learning how to learn

To learn in 2 years what would normally take 5, my friend @leoncastillovc is your guy.

He teaches entrepreneurs & biz owners how to learn & how to self-manage themselves.

His Roadmap system is at a discount, & ends in a few hours. Check it out here: https://www.selfmastered.net/a/25492/qpNyCyoi #ad
