So I continue to rack up followers over a tweet I deleted which apparently is now circulating, as a screenshot, on Facebook. I have to be honest: I hate that. I'm not here to be a Resistance hero. I deleted the tweet bc I wasn't interested in being harangued by gun nuts.

I'm not here for clout, I'm not here for numbers, I'm here to try to keep tabs on the world in both a professional and a "society is collapsing" sense. I'd also like to be able to goof off to relieve the psychic pain. And the more attention you get, the less that's possible.

Suffice it to say I would prefer it if people would respect my choice to delete things for that reason. I said what I said, I'll probably say it again, and I won't pretend I didn't mean it, even if I might've changed the exact phrasing. But there's more to this game than that.
