One reason the House Democrats are what they are is that campaigning is expensive, and the candidate with the most money is able to reach voters in blue districts and explain how progressive they are. Often they're not actually the most progressive, but voters don't know that./1
Breaking that pattern is essential to creating an actually progressive House Dem majority. The pattern was broken in the @MondaireJones primary, and that was partly thanks to the CPC spending big money there, launching an IE for the first time ever.

They're doing it again...
In WA-10, there are 3 viable candidates, but only 1 actual progressive. In the past, the progressive loses that race, and Dems send to Congress somebody, for instance, who worked with the chamber of commerce to try to oust the progressive/socialist majority on the Seattle council
This, from @PramilaJayapal, for instance, is just not the kind of contrasting that Dem voters are used to hearing in primaries
This Seattle Times endorsement tells you everything you need to know about how this dynamic unfolds.

Here's the local paper of record telling liberals that the best choice is the woman who fought a $15 wage & led the campaign on behalf of Amazon to try to flip the city council!
