You know that all the qualities are manifested by my power, whether they are Satoguna, Rajoguna or Tamoguna. In a way I am everything, but I am free.
I am not subject to the qualities of nature, but 7, someone can be punished according to the rules of the state, but the king who rules is not subject to that rule.
Similarly, all the qualities of nature - Sato, Rajo and Tamogun - are derived from Lord Krishna, but Krishna is not subject to nature.
That is why they are nirguna, which implies that all the qualities emanate from them, but they do not affect them. This is a special characteristic of God.
