Models of Aggression

Our thoughts, feelings & behaviour are linked. Thankfully most days they are productively linked & a lot us function & cope well, even with more difficult feelings. However for some people not knowing how to cope with "negative" feelings can lead to violence
2/4 The model is simplified & doesn't show timescales or real events & doesn't talk about the various chemical & electrical exchanges going on in the body. It is though a graphic illustration of what is played out in communities & workplaces throughout the country.
3/4 Thankfully, we can interfere with the model & stop any progression towards violence. Learning to actively listen is fundamental to this. In the many varied activities offered by @MoveMENt_WA we will be able to explore the relationship between thoughts, feelings & behaviour
4/4 Exceptions to the model exist within the autistic spectrum & with certain mental illnesses. It is therefore not definitive but used as a guide for discussion. Hopefully, when @MoveMENt_WA is fully up & running this will be discussed in activities, in a non formal way
