black women need to reject the idea of being warriors and fighters. We do not hv to fight!!

Black women are soft.

Black women are women. We need to seize our image and distance ourselves from anything/anyone that seeks to keep us at the bottom

I hate the narrative that bw cannot be delicate and soft. We’re always complimented on being “strong” and “Independent” which only enables people to treat us as if we don’t go through emotions, physical, and mental pain. I can’t be strong everyday, I should be allowed to cry too.

Its so sad that Black femininity is not recognized or respected; for centuries white femininity has been the standard that intentionally excludes BW, sometimes it feels that no matter how feminine we are and confident in ourselves, others will still mistreat us.

Black men are not ours and we do not belong to them, we do not have to submit to anyone who has disrespected. mistreated, devalued, degraded, dehumanized, dismissed and discriminated us. fullest potential should be what we aim for which means bw need to have standards
