Why I like the monogatari series (Thread)

//Minor Spoilers
I want to start with the themes of the Monogatari franchise, using the supernatural element of the story to tackle Philosophies and Ideals is what made the franchise so interesting, Often you will find yourself being amazed by the way it is presented and often times you will --
Find yourself saying "Hey this Ideal actually makes sense" because one of Monogatari's biggest selling point is it's relatability. Each arc presenting new Ideals and as the show goes on you will find yourself relating to every character that is presented.
The next thing I admire in the franchise is the dialogue, youve probably heard this from every monogatari fan by now but when we say that the dialogue of monogatari is absolutely genius we are not exaggerating. The way Isin just fiddles around with japanese language and use --
Wordplay makes up for good comedy an example of this is how isin used the phrase (Dakara) thats why in Kizu II shows how much he likes to play around the japanese language.
Another thing I admire is the way he uses casual conversations and monologues to give in more depth to a character. This is heavily presented in nekomonogatari (shiro) a casual conversation like this gave in more depth and understanding about hanekawa's character.
The next thing I admire in the Monogatari series is the cast. Monogatari is one of those shows where I can confidently say that no cast is overshadowed. Everybody got their own arcs, everybody got their own developments, everybody left a satisfying conclusion in their arcs ---
The way Isin presents the cast using famous anime archetypes in your first meeting, only to twist your image of the character as the show goes on still amazes me. Araragi's dynamic with the entire cast is some of the best Ive seen. ---
His conversation with the cast never gets repetitive, and Araragi's monologues is just the icing on the cake during these dialogues. The reason why I say Araragi is the perfect MC is because he can be a mix of everything, He can be sarcastic, fun, timid, etch
Because of his flexible personality Araragi can easily form a great dynamic with every cast.
The last thing I'll mention is how the series is adapted. For a Dialogue Heavy series to be completely adapted, and For a dialogue heavy series to be adapted with interesting visuals that wouldnt make the show boring is still a suprise to me. Using the flashing texts as a --
Way to present a monologue is one of the most creative ways to not cut any content. Every arc having a different op that showcases the personality of the character is one of the best ways to use an opening song. And the way the visuals are adapted man ---
You can pause at any frame and it will still look good. The lighting of the shots are not too bright and not too dim. The atmosphere can be both serious and lively, its just a flexible show all around. The OST boosts the atmosphere and it all sounds amazing.
And before I forget to mention the ongoing manga adaptation has great art and a great take on the storyline of monogatari, making it lean towards action more definitely made for a better manga experience. It doesnt matter Manga, Anime, or LN monogatari has great adaptations.
