I don’t believe any children should be in prison, in fact, abolish them x

Abolishment needs to be included in these conversations. Raising the age to 14, only makes the pool of those who are vulnerable and are easy to prey on, smaller. There will still be children locked up. All children don’t derserve to be in prison.

I’m super uncomfortable with how people have painted being 10 as innocence either through their descriptors or stories... All children don’t deserve to be locked up. Abolishment needs to be discussed.

14 is still a child. Young people deserve to receive help and resources. They deserve to rehabilitate without being sent to prison. Indigenous young people deserve to heal and rehabilitate in ways that implement cultural traditions and practices.

At no point did I say I don’t agree. I’m just saying all children shouldn’t be locked up and engaging with abolition and how that would affect us would be cool.
