Knew this @JHospMedicine paper was coming.

The amazing Elie, a co-resident. @Gurpreet2015, a mentor. @jen_babik, definition of a role model.

Still, reading it lit a fire under me like never before.

<25% of last authors of #CPS articles are women.

Surprised? Nope. 1/
"A preponderance of male voices in clinical reasoning exercises...may perpetuate a culture in which women are not seen—and do not see themselves—as having the potential to be master clinicians."

I see the "do not see themselves" all around.

Heck I see it in the mirror. 2/
Took yrs of @rabihmgeha patience & mentorship, before I ever spoke at #morningreport

As @SashaShillcutt writes #impostersyndrome had me "tethered to small circle of space"

Then @jen_babik, Lisa Winston, @LekshmiMD & many others at @UCSF showed me what women can do in CR 3/
And then came @CPSolvers & chief year.

And there it was. The biggest inspiration. Their potential.

There is no bigger joy than seeing women trainees blow me away with their #clinicalreasoning.

Now in the mirror, I see them. 4/
The future is bright.

And we have so much work to do.
