How Meditation really works?

Our mind is biologically evolved to constantly think because of our survival need. Mind is either in future or in past.

With the technological advances, the world is becoming highly competitive causing this mind to wander even more.
This monkey mind is affecting on attention span of ours. Attention span has drastically reduced because of constant activity of brain either in future or past. We are losing our focus.
This is where Meditation comes for help?

Basic idea behind Meditation is to train your brain/mind to focus on the one thing happening in present for a longer period of time.

Now, how to do that?👇
Almost every religion has its own methods of Meditation but their end goal is same.

If you follow any religion, you can follow it's method.

But for a beginner or who wants to keep it simple just do this 👇
Sit in cross legged position, back straight and eyes closed.

For next 30-40 minutes (extend upto 1 hour if possible) focus on your breath. Breath is happening only in present. Do this for month atleast to see results.

The results will shock you for sure.
The more you get excited by external stimuli the more you need to meditate.
