That's right, we just weirdly retweeted entire sections from an old thread to make a half-assed new thread.
tl;dr: If you are supposedly there to "protect" those most likely to be targeted with violence at protests, and you've agreed that those people are BIPOC and people in bloc, sharing unverified "info" that centers your own fears and safety at others' expense is irresponsible.
And the easiest way to avoid this issue is to run the information you're sharing past other groups you're supporting in private before you decide to post. That's it. That's all. Take five minutes, ask for the opinion of someone you trust and know is knowledgeable.
