Let's just make the call NYC, NOW, before we begin the second wave of COVID19 cases, to do remote learning, with a summer-school style option for parents who need in-school learning.

As it stands, I am hearing first few weeks will be focused on trauma work (which I don't disagree with), academic school will be overshadowed with keeping our communities safe, and there will be no real specialized learning (which sounds way worse than what we had in the Spring)
Let's make the safest decision, let's move forward, and let's stop kidding ourselves and pretending we can have a normalized school setting.
