Reality: Flyovers, the anthem, God Bless America (
), the constant messaging that war keeps us safe, police appreciation night...all political. The real gripe is with the political views being expressed, not the presence of politics. 3/4

But if gripers come out and say “keep your liberal bullshit out of my safe space,” they lose the high ground by admitting that this is really about dominance and silencing dissent that they disagree with. 4/4

Reality: reactionary Whites always assert the power to decide what Black protest means. That’s a racist act of dominance. Do your homework on the history calling Black activism “disrespectful.”
