The year is 1780.

A young man and a US citizen, you are entering adulthood on the ground floor of the most powerful profit machine in history.

Yet you feel like a piece of you is missing.

Many men have romanticized the “days of old” without realizing the best days are now.
Interestingly, men have rejected society as long as they have lived in it.

While the modern struggle may have evolved over time, the thesis remains the same: learning to navigate the new world.
As more freedoms have been given to us over time we are finally at a point of true atomization in society.

Whereas men previously had their tribe to fall back on, the internet and travel has made us truly independent.

Unfortunately, society has evolved faster than man.
While men previously banded together to fight off the weapons of the enemy, the same cannot be said now.

The weapons have evolved from swords and spears to sex and sugar.

And now man stands completely alone and the barbarians are at the gate.
So how does the classic man navigate a modern world?

The answer is not to regress into old rituals and lifestyles, but to learn to conquer despite new rules.
We look up to men that thrived in their environment even though we live under the same (or better) conditions as they do.

We idolize explorers but we believe we cannot do the same just because the spots on the map have been filled in.
The bow and arrow was once the pinnacle of technology and was used to forge an empire that spanned a continent.

Now we can harness the internet to forge our own empire than spans the globe.
The boundaries of the map may have been filled in, but many don’t realize that the face of the map has always evolved with technology

The new boundaries are the ones we make for ourselves.
