If America weren’t so fundamentally organized around genocide, slavery & anti-Black & Indigenous racism, then it wouldn’t be seen as any kind of existential threat to the USA for Black & Indigenous people to demand equality under the law. 1/
👉The systems & institutions themselves are racist.👈

That’s why the state continues to kill us generation after generation no matter who is in the WH. 2/
This is again like the McDonald’s analogy I used earlier regarding policing.

Whoever is CEO of McD’s is the head of a fast food chain b/c that’s what McD’s is.

Whoever occupies WH is chief executive of the USA’s white supremacist system, even when the president is Black. 3/
If the issue were simply the personnel & not the systems & institutions themselves, we wouldn’t be dealing with the same issues 50+ years after integration, when we have Black mayors & police chiefs in many major cities. 4/
We are dying because

👉racism operates as a routine, bureaucratic process👈

that’s carried out by a rotating roster of civil service employees.

Their daily occupation is to perform a million different tasks that result in the systemic marginalization of the poor & nonwhite.5/
This is why it is the SYSTEMS, INSTITUTIONS & POLICIES that must be dismantled and not simply Trump’s presidency.

The police & military forces of the US have been killing Black, brown & Indigenous people since the beginning & during every presidency, including Obama-Biden. 6/6
