Grim evening. The @EFL have had since last November to get answers from the current owners of #cafc and now need to force them out by making clear the club cannot start next season at all under the current regime or its imaginary successors.
If the club has to go into administration to rid itself of Duchatelet’s loans because he is too stupid to accept he can never collect on Nimer’s guarantee then so be it.
I am absolutely confident that all the while the club is playing - and wherever it is playing - no planning consent on The Valley will ever be granted. So if the ground has to be left empty to force him to sell it then so be it.
It’s likely to get very messy over the next few weeks and months. However, there are people with big ambitions for #cafc ready to step in. It will take time and it will be painful but we can put this right and we will.
And thanks to Lee Bowyer and the #cafc players (who finished the season) and still came so close to surviving despite the odds stacked against them by the absolutely worthless and contemptible individuals who have infested our club since 2011.
