SLCPD marked car was just sitting outside my house for 20 minutes. It drove by at least once this morning — I remember seeing it while I was working at my desk. Another car was slightly down the street. Both of them left as soon as my roommate pulled into the driveway.
Only three options here:
1. It was all one big coincidence (🤔)
2. They were waiting for a warrant to process
3. This was an intentional intimidation tactic
What reason do SLCPD have to be outside my house, sitting for that long, and then pulling away as soon as my roommate shows up? Hmm?
If this is an intimidation tactic then it’s disgusting. If you have a warrant, arrest me. Sitting outside of my house to scare me because I said cops should be accountable to the people they serve is too much.
Not going to shut up! Not going to stop! You don’t get to move in the shadows! Not here! Not today!
Don’t worry everyone 🤣 it was a welfare check 🤩 thanks SLCPD 😁 for keeping us safe 🤪 https://twitter.com/slcpd/status/1286328882484973569?s=21 https://twitter.com/slcpd/status/1286328882484973569
The police trying the “ladies b crazy” narrative and accidentally confirming that they know exactly where I live and what time their car was outside of my house is god-tier cop stuff
huge mood
This is the weirdest day of my life
To be super clear I don’t want an apology I want the police to stop hunting down and jailing protestors
And can we just watch whiteness work for a second? Mani, Sofia, all these other protestors are having their lives ruined by SLCPD but I get....an apology?
