If you don't read up on criminal psychology or listen to crime documentaries, let me give you a brief summary:

I really dislike films and shows following real life serial killers. It's INCREDIBLY hard to do well and make it so that it isn't making light of the situation.
Also, STOP CASTING FAMOUS PEOPLE AS REAL LIFE CRIMINALS!!

Casting famous and/or attractive people as serial killers, school shooters, or other criminals, does something awful.
It strengthens their fandom by getting more people attracted to them.

Please for the love of all things good do NOT make fancams or post about how much you love his character when it comes out. It's not a character. He was a real serial killer and necrophile, even if he's acted out by David Tennant.
Why can't we just stick to documentaries? Why can't we have nice things? Why must we dramatize real life events that happened not too long ago, causing the families of the victims great suffering?

That's all I have to say for now. I am in no way attacking or trying to cancel David. I love him very much, he's a wholesome guy and I know he would never try to make light of such a dark situation. But we as a fan base need to make sure we know not to stan Nilsen as a character.
