my message to Trudeau, Morneau and team - get your shit together. Pay fucking close attention to what you're doing, do the right thing as you do but make damn sure the opposition has nothing to bitch about. Make life not annoying for your supporters please.
I'd like to see Cabinet assemble a specialized team of expert devils advocates who can really sanity check things for them before sloppy decisions are made. Make a public show of it, why not? Since the PM seems keen on an image of honesty and taking responsibility.
Another thing I'd like to see is the comms team replaced. Regardless of right or wrong of it, every time anything happens the story gets out of control almost instantly. This is not what an expert comms team would allow to happen. Take the story by the horns or someone else will.
For both the last two tweets - you have the ability to hire the best of the best, do it. No yes-people, no eager young staffers, get bulldogs and professionals. Beat the opposition before they even have a chance to get started. You CAN do this.
To expand on the above no I don't see an issue of unrelated travel expenses as the reason that the WE contract was awarded. See yesterday's testimony.
