Though there are differences between our communities, the experiences of Indigenous Peoples and migrants in so-called Canada are similar in many ways due to government decisions that negatively affect us (4/9)
Indigenous Peoples and migrants often feel a loss of identity as a result of displacement, such as feeling disconnected from their family, culture, or land. Our communities often hold a deep and sacred love for our families, and Mother Earth (5/9)
