Anytime you hear bull about The Legitimacy of the Supreme Court™, it's the left saying "it may not be defensible law but we won't accept you overturning it"

There's never a concern about The Legitimacy of the Supreme Court™ when the court is, say, redefining marriage.
We worry about The Legitimacy of the Supreme Court™ when it comes to Planned Parenthood continuing to enjoy the gravy train but not when we're trying to get the Court to reverse itself on basic, clearly-enumerated constitutional rights.
The Law is Settled™ that you have a right to abortion despite the fact it appears absolutely nowhere in the Constitution, but we have to keep probing and discussing what "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed" could possibly mean.
The Law is Settled™ that the federal government has the implied right to force you to buy health insurance from a private company, but the jury is still out on what the cryptic phrase "Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech" could mean.
