Don't let anyone tell you that the US is doing well compared to Canada.

Even if you 10x the numbers to account for population. Objectively they are far worse.

Take a look at the deaths per million nearly 2x
The key number is the deaths per Million.

The US has the highest deaths per million for any country with with a population more than 100m at 436 per million deaths.
For comparison the CDC website lists the Flu at 2 deaths per 100k or 20 deaths per 1 million people.

That means according to current CDC numbers COVID is 22x more deadly (at current, does not presume final numbers)
