Here's the plan for #notaREALteacher
A brief thread:
I have assumed the responsibility of educating my now 9th grade granddaughter (and her three covid-free pals.) All good. Desks, computers, downloaded curriculum all handled. Phones in basket. 😡
And I lost my library. 🙁

The kids are bright. They're typical early teen gals, moody, easily distracted by well, you know... I don't believe in too much reading on screen, so my approx 1600 book library-now-classroom is their fishing hole. A book a week and I care less if it's golf or Gulf War.

And now the new thought.

There are 300 girls in the lower school grades. I'm thinking of sending my four charges as "jr. tutors" for select help (as needed) to the younger girl's home's? Or is that too risky? Masks and all...

Is this a silly idea?
Is this missing the mark?

I'm wondering what other parents of 5-10 year old's think. Would your kid pay attention to an older girl from the same school, albeit in the "upper school?"

Let me know. Very curious.
