I get why there are articles about how women are better at managing COVID.

This is necessary in dissolving sexist stereotypes that say that women cannot lead in crisis. (Which is garbage.)

I also look forward to the day when we name the TACTICAL LEADERSHIP women are using.
These women leaders are countries with resources and familiarity with women leading.

One journalist (blanking on who) tweeted that it’s more about a country’s cohesiveness, history in taking collective action and openness to collaboration.
It is less about the gender, more likely about a country’s so-called ‘progressive’ attitudes towards leadership, science and cooperation.

If HRC was president, I do think COVID would have been handled differently but we still would have had the same cultural faultlines exposed.
No one asked for this musing but there’s another cycle of ‘women are better at leading’ headlines.

Listen. I am sexist. I think women are better (anyone that id’s as a woman IS A WOMAN.)

Cooperation, collaboration, stewardship = men can do it, too. I’ve seen it. ❤️
