I've been debating sharing bc it’s felt so personal but I’m 4 weeks into my fight with covid & still really struggling. It’s been really tough & I can’t believe how much it’s still affecting me. I wanted to share this for anyone who might be going through it & feeling alone.
Having asthma has made this more complicated and scary. The unknowns of the virus made it isolating and hard. But it’s also made me realize how lucky and supported I am. I am learning how to be patient with my body. One day at a time.
If you’re going through this and need someone to talk to I’m here. My DMs are open. My advice to everyone is to order an oximeter for you and your family! Do it now! It has become my new best friend. Be kind to each other. Sending love to everyone.

The virus has also taught me to be grateful. Luckily my family was able to steer clear of it and stay safe. I've learned we are all braver than we know. Stronger than we think. And more loved than we realize.
Blown away by everyone’s kindness and support. Have been flooded with resources, support and love. Thank you all!
My heart is full. Maybe this isn’t the bad place???

Also want to share this breathing exercise that @MaraGay kindly sent my way and has already provided me with some relief! Hope it helps someone else: https://www.today.com/health/coronavirus-breathing-technique-may-help-covid-19-patients-breathe-better-t177870
