If Hillary Clinton had been President during Coronavirus, and a total of 25 Americans had died from it, Republicans would be calling it the greatest crime in American history.
Republicans would hold press conferences with the families of whichever victims were Republican, make those families into celebrities, and never stop calling for "justice" and make that the main focus of their 2020 campaign.
This is really the foremost issue in American politics. Before you can face any other issue, you have to deal with the fact that one party is devoted solely to accepting all credit and rejecting all blame. Not sometimes or usually, but always, and instead of anything else.
Anybody who thinks that Democrats can win the political argument by implementing beneficial policies hasn't been paying attention to the Republican / Fox News / Sinclair smokescreens. Beneficial policies are actually a liability in their world. That's our foremost problem.
