Like, I get it but he was engaging in this type of shit before his mother died, before we knew about his issues. Never once has Kanye stood up for Black Women in-fact we were the bud of jokes for many of his first records.
Kanye has had a long history of poking fun at Black Women who he deemed âlesser thanâ if u go back to âJesus Walksâ you see Malaysia Pargo is the subject âwhore getting savedâ in the video same with Gold Digger.

Kanye has always made it know that getting âonâ for Black Men in his eyes was about getting rich and getting with any white girl available. Heâs not the ONLY one majority of Black Men in entertainment feel this way thats why the image has been so anti Black Woman for so long.
Black Women are cool with Kanye long as weâre âneck rollingâ âbootleggingâ getting shit for âfree 99â allatâs great! No respect for us as whole humans thatâs why thereâs only one signed to his label and sheâs barely promoted while being one of the BIGGER acts.
I mean this is an issue industry wide. Black men disproportionately sit in powerful positions at labels and immediately become oppressors look at TDE. TDE has to date signed almost 10 new acts since Sza was signed and not one of those acts have been a Black Woman. I donât see Sza even discussing this so I donât expect much solidarity itâs obvious shes their âtypeâ for a reason.
But if you want to know why yâall donât see Black Women in entertainment itâs because too many Black Men are gatekeeping us out of bags. Im pointing to entertainment because thats my industry AND so many Black men hold positions of power within the industry.
