If you date someone with depression, anxiety, ptsd etc, you have to make sure you are their safe home. Beware for the crying over small things, getting upset or angry over little things, over thinking, or not being able to sleep or go out. Don’t date them if you can’t handle it
“Your partner shouldn’t be your safe home you should be your own” sometimes your mental health is so bad you can’t even be your own safe home. Having someone who loves you be a safe home makes you feel at peace and better.
Also this doesn’t mean your partner is your damn therapist. Like i said, if you can’t handle it, leave! No one is forcing you to stay with someone who deal with mental health issues. It just means BE THERE when you can! Not allll the time
