The proposed solutions push us towards full blown, overt Socialism. The real solution is returning to actual Capitalism.

The Fed is buying the bonds of Chevron, BMW, CVS, Disney, GE, J&J, Microsoft, MetLife, Lockheed, & many other mega corporations.
Small businesses are being allowed to fail in mass without any material help.
