A constant visitor is a named individual, for example a wife or son. But ultimately it will be up to individual care homes to decide if they’ll allow visitors, with several telling us they will be reluctant or at least anxious about doing so.
Many care homes are already finding creative ways to allow visits, as we reported last month. Suspect this is the sort of approach that most will take - visits won’t look the way they once did.
