Sooner or later there’s going to have to be a discussion about the role of intellect in the hierarchical order of things. SUSTAINED success requires intellect. Egalitarians believe equal opportunity assures equal outcomes, but is that true?
Growing up, the gangsters in my hood were more successful than the working people. “Successful” as in having more money. However, their run was always risky and usually short. They tended to have more balls than brains so the success could not be sustained.
Life is competitive. From the ejaculation out of your father’s scrotum there was a race to the egg for life. Each person reading this won that race - the first of many. No one wins every race. Some win more than others. The key is to learn YOUR strengths and run YOUR race.
Disgruntled people spend their time watching others ASSUMING they belong on the same playing field. There’s a process to everything. Intellect is key in figuring out the process. To embark on the journey, especially when that journey is the acquisition of POWER requires BALLS.
I’ve been accused of being “anti-education” and “anti-intellectual” by people with no power, in spite of their education and “intellect.” It’s not that their attributes aren’t important. I just know from EXPERIENCE it’s not enough. Their ego won’t allow them to see that.
They believe because they’ve read the most books and gotten the most degrees they are fit to lead. Those things are important. It just takes much more to seize POWER since that’s what all of this talk of equality, capitalism and white supremacy is really about.
People who’ve never had a favorable relationship with power on ANY level can’t tell me shit about how to challenge power and impact change. They didn’t teach you that in school. I learned it in the trenches. We are not the same.
