Article 51 A(h) says it shall be the duty of every citizen of India to develop scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of inquiry and reform. It is much neglected in real life.

1
Our young scientists want to fly off. Talented researchers don't get paid enough or they find the academic politics stifling. Why would a sane mind want to invest time in an insane system?

2
HRs say they can hire two engineers in cost of a science PhD. Their lack of appreciation for both the Engineer and the PhD is astonishing. This non-awareness indicates a deep problem.

3
Our brilliant MPs deny evolutionary theory despite the democratisation of data in the Information Age. It was never this easy to read and understand Darwin. All they have to do is Google.

4
Real struggle lies in getting to the luxury of owning a phone and knowing Darwin. Flat-earthers can not stop Hubble telescopes. Govts and people are accepting science but they are slow.

5
Indians face a common conundrum. Science and religion were both born in scientific enquiry. While one grew reactionary to enquiry, the other promoted it.

6
In the West, religion grew harsher and lost relevance while science grew leap and bounds. Non-scientific faiths expect a bow in love, respect, fear, greed, enquiry or whatever deemed fit.

7
Scientific faiths promote liberty by absorbing unpopular opinions better. The global rise of activism, right-wing and religion is not an accident. People have better access to information.

8
Religion grew when universe was questioned. Science grew when religion was questioned. Today, religion grows back as science is questioned. USA is debating whether to wear masks or not.

9
Science must factor in people's faith before denying or ridiculing it. Faithless science is as ruthless as faithful science. The balance India requires is delicate and expensive.

10
Indians must find balance between religion and science. This seems impossible. It is easier to say religion reigns supreme or science rules all. Easier but wrong.
