Wow, people get really mad finding out that pop songs weren't written entirely by the artist. Just saw a video from a songwriter talking about a song she wrote for a well-known artist and all of the comments are like "who even is she?" or "why is she lying" (and worse tbh...)
You don't know her because she's a writer and not an artist. Some people don't want to be 'the face', and go around touring, singing, etc - their skill is in creating a new idea and writing / arranging melodies and chord progressions into the catchy songs we know and love
These songs get pitched to various artists / labels, who will often put their own spin on it and make it more 'their own'. That doesn't make the artist any less talented - there are so many skills going into that role, and a lot of artists can write too.
But let's not hate on writers for 'stealing the credit' just for doing their job and writing some of our favourite songs!
Bonus tip: you can actually right click songs in Spotify and click 'Show Credits' to see the writers of a song. It might surprise you! A lot of people are involved in these songs.
