Starting a thread for CCL Product (India) Ltd

What I like about the business is:

1. Its sickness.
2. Long term relations
3. Expertise
4. Economics Of Scale
It becomes quite difficult for a company to switch to a different supplier when quality is big importance for them.

So, businesses 'stick' to the same supplier(CCL) which gives supplier to charge higher.

As getting the right blend in coffee is quite a task.
Few people who track this company:
1. Ambit Capital
2. Securities Investment Management Private Limited (not sure if they still do)
3. ValueQuest: They also holds 1.76% stake in the company. (Prof. Sanjay Bakshi)
If you are interested in this company would seriously recommend reading their con-call of Q4 FY19.
Further, for understanding company's USP read page four of Q3 FY19 earnings call.
I could not see presence of ValueQuest (Prof. Sanjay Bakshi) during the Q1 FY21 con-call.

Recently tried Freeze Dried Coffee of CCL Products (India) Ltd. As I am not a coffee person, it tastes same to me compared with Nescafe. But I could could definitely feel the different in the aroma.

If someone has ever tried this coffee could you please share your experience?
CCL Coffee's aroma felt way better to me as it gave me a sense of natural coffee where Nescafe (the normal one, not GOLD) felt as if there was some enhancer included inside of it.

This is my personal opinion and heavily biased!
CCL Products (India) Ltd?

From Prof. Sanjay Bakshi"s interview.
I guess Moats and Floats go hand in hand.
Hopefully company will enter pods segment next year.

Tried Continental Xtra. The taste felt good. But I can't compare it with BRU currently as I haven't tried BRU yet.

But overall I liked. On standalone basis.
Just received feedback regarding CCL coffee from one of my friends.

He said that his sibling who is working in Bangalore suggested him to try CCL Coffee.

They has been using it from past one year. They came across it when CCL gave away free sample at their office.
Reasons to switch to Continental Coffee by his siblings:
1. Blend is better than Nescafe
2. More economical (Rs64/100g, if you buy the 1kg pack)
3. Easily available in larger sizes
Some good news. All units are functional now.
What do we have here? 😎😍
Update: Now after drinking Continental Coffee for a month I can tell the difference.

I have tried the Black Edition & Xtra vs Nescafe classic.

Now the taste of Nescafe just seems tasteless. It gets very difficult to even finish a cup of it.😂

(I am sure I am biased here)
I did not like Black Edition but Xtra was really good.

I was a tea person but after trying Xtra I actually started drinking more coffee.

I have tried any of the Nescafe's premium coffee yet.
Promotors bought again on 30th September.

I had written to CCL Products about one their employee getting paid exceptionally which seemed odd.

Received the reply today and the explanation seems satisfactory.
