My biggest problems with Sarkari Muslims:

1. They always told Muslims to act as docile inferiors and not talk as equals, under the guise of akhlaq and sulook.

2. They never highlighted the marginalisation and discrimination against Muslims to the international community.

3. Despite the annual pogrom of Muslims and injustice meted out to Muslims on every occassion, they painted the Indian state as a benevolent and secular heaven for Muslims.

4. They threw their own under the bus, to show their allegiance to and to please the majority.

5. They were never the voice of the common Muslims. They remained disconnected from the ground realities of their own community.

6. They always tried to keep the IMs disengaged & dissociated from the International Muslim community. They demonised other Muslim countries.

7. They emphasised on syncretism rather than own identity, thus enabling the dehumanisation of anyone who was seen as a practising Muslim.

8. They were never the true sympathisers of Muslims, and they always tried to silence the dissenting voices, receding the space to fascists.
