Lol honestly thanks for all your positivity on Twitter and #Devcommunity, I can truly be myself as a gorilla
I love my gorilla face way more than my Anime days, and I hope you do too

Now back to 5 things I learnt...

Now back to 5 things I learnt...

#CodeNewbie #CodeNewbies #WomenWhoCode
1. Learn 1 thing at a time:
Had to admit initially I was so overwhelmed by how much to learn! I forgot learning coding is a Marathon, not a sprint!
when you try to learn too much things, trust me, you forget even quicker!!

2. You need the breaks:
Initially I used to cram so much in 3+ hours, sacrificing lots of sleeps and not taking breaks! Very bad for health and also your mentality. Drink water, exercise, do something else! You’ll thank yourself in long-term!

3. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes and sharing them:
Did you know one of my most epic fail at the beginning was coding position: flex;??
Share your code and your mistakes, people would love to help, and it makes good laughing material for yourself for later

4. Ask help when you need it:
This is the main one to keep me motivated! Everytime I learn something new by asking people questions
When you tried your best and got really stuck, do reach out! #100DaysOfCode is a helpful community here! Same as every #webdev out there

5. Do take step back, but never give up:
I had to switch back and forth between #CSS and #Javascript, sometimes it’s ok to go back and revise/learn something else. When you come back, you may find things are not as difficult as you though
And just keep going! Never give up!
